Majlis Penghargaan & Penyampaian Sijil Keluarga Angkat Serta AJK Keluarga Angkat 06

Pada hari ahad lepas, 18hb March 2007 @ 3 ptg , Persatuan BERSATU telah mengadakan Majlis Penghargaan & Penyampaian Sijil Keluarga Angkat Serta AJK Keluarga Angkat untuk Program Kapal Belia "SSEAYP 2006" di Dewan Di Gadong, Bangunan Kementerian Kebudayaan Belia & Sukan, Negara Brunei Darussalam. Majlis dihadiri oleh Pengerusi dan ahli jawatankuasa penyelanggara majlis, pegawai serta kakitangan Kementerian Kebudayaan Belia dan Sukan, keluarga-keluarga angkat, ahli-ahli Persatuan Bersatu serta peserta Program Kapal Belia 2006. Tetamu Kehormat pada hari tersebut ialah Pengarah Belia dan Sukan, Awang Haji Mattasim Bin Hj Jibah.

Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan surah Al-Fatihah beramai-ramai yang dipimpin oleh Awang Haji Abd Rahman Bin Hj Ahim, bekas peserta program SSEAYP 2006. Majlis diteruskan dengan kata-kata aluan oleh Yang Di Pertua Persatuan Bersatu, Awang Ahanapi bin Haji Mahadi. Kemudian majlis disusuli dengan penyampaian sijil untuk Keluarga Angkat Serta AJK Keluarga Angkat 2006.

Majlis diakhiri dengan jamuan ringan dan acara karaoke dari bekas peserta SSEAYP 2006 dan juga ahli Persatuan Bersatu.

BRUNEI DARUSSALAM IN HISTORY

Today, Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pg Anak Isteri Pg Anak Sarah binti Pg Salleh Ab Rahaman, the wife of His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah the Crown Prince, has safely given birth to a prince on Saturday, 27 Safar 1428 Hijrah corresponding to March 17, 2007, at 3.50pm. Congratulations..... :)

It is also coincides with my late father's birthday, Cikgu Awang Haji Ludin Bin Hashim.
He was born on 17th March 1920 at Kampong Lurong Dalam. His Father's name was Awang Hashim Bin Abdullah and his mother's name was Dayang Aminah. He was the third from the family of five. His eldest sister was my late Tua Bini, Dayang Hajah Halimah Binti Hashim. The second was my late Ngangah Laki, Penghulu Awang Haji Tengah Bin Hashim, my late father was the third one known as Iring Laki or Pairing. Then the fourth one is my Amit or Pamit, Awang Haji Abdullah Bin Hashim and last but not least, the youngest was my late Bungsu Laki, Awang Haji Bongsu Bin Hashim.

He lost his parents when he was about less than 10 years old and then he was adopted by his uncle, Awang Haji Abu Bakar Bin Majid of Kg Lurong Dalam too. My late father married to my mother, Dayang Hajah Kalsom Binti Ahmad of Kg Sumbiling Lama when he was 29 years old. They have 12 children, 7 boys and 5 girls........very productive huh....

He was a very loving and charismatic person. After retired from the government service as "Nadzir Sekolah", he ran a small business as a general contractor. At the same time, he was appointed as Ketua Kampong Pintu Malim for a long period till he passed away on 17th October 1988 @ 12.29pm at the age of 68 years old. He was diagnosed of having Chronic Renal Failure and Carcinoma of stomach, secondary from his Diabetes Mellitus.

I will always remember his word of wisdom...... "Jangan sekali-kali menyakiti hati orang lain, walaupun diri sendiri disakiti"........

I love u and I miss u so much pa............

Babu Going To KL

Everyday, I go to Seria to work with my cousin, Juliana, better known as Jouler who lives in Kg Lupak Luas. We commute daily from monday till friday. She'll fetch me up from the hi-way junction which I called "Lugu Interchange"......hehehe.....and on the way back my huby will wait for me at the BIBD Sengkurong.

But today, my huby wait for me at the Bukit Agok's junction coz we need to rush to send off my Babu who's going to KL with my brother, Paidi and his family for 12 days. We reached at the Brunei International Airport around 5.40pm and I met Paidi at the parking lot and told me that he just did the check-in for all of them and went to money changer to change some cash ,unfortunately, no more Malaysian $ available!! Berabis jua org brunei ani eh......hehehehehe

At about 6.20pm, Babu came to the airport with my other brother, Paji Bayun and his wife, Monah. Babu's face looked very cheerful and "iski" looking bah coz it's been a few years she didn't meet her sister, Machi Sariah and her family in KL. Hj Mai pushed her wheelchair to the waiting area where all of us were sitting. I helped Hj Mai to put the name tag on her wheelchair coz Paidi wanted to put it in the cargo compartment. With her, she brought along one black little hand carry which was full of cooked stuff for her sister. Knowing my babu, she's the type yang "penyangkut" bah........Ada-ada saja kan dibawakannya.

At about 7:00pm, they all went in to the departure hall and I whispered to my 13 yrs old nephew, Haji Nadi to look after my Babu whom they call as "NINI KUEH"!! The moment, they went into the departure hall, my tears dropped. I quickly wiped it off takut kedapatan bah!! I MISS her already................

ROLL TAPAK KUDA

Bahan-bahannya:

10 biji kuning telur
5 biji putih telur
225g gula castor
110g tepung gandum atau tepung halus
10g susu tepung atau tepung aiskrim vanilla
135ml mentega cair
1 sudu makan rata penstabil
1 sudu teh esen vanila
1 sudu teh perasa coklat
1/2 sudu teh serbuk penaik
coklat nutella atau pes kacang hazel

Cara membuatnya:

1. Satukan telur, gula dan penstabil, lalu pukul perlahan hingga naik dan pekat. Masukkan tepung, susu dan serbuk penaik. Pukul lagi hingga rata.

2. Masukkan mentega cair dan esen vanila, kacau rata.

3. Ambil 5 senduk adunan dan masukkan perasa coklat. Kacau hingga rata. Baki adunan masukkan ke dalam beg pipping.

4. Sediakan 2 loyang berukuran 10x10x1 inci, alas dengan kertas dan sapu dengan mentega. Tuang adunan coklat dan ratakan di dalam loyang. Picitkan adunan dari beg pipping.

5. Bakar didalam ketuhar bersuhu 180c selama 20-25 minit. Sejukkan seketika.

6. Keluarkan kek dari dalam loyang. Potong tepi keliling kek.

7. Sapu Nutella atau pes kacang hazel di atas lapisan coklat dan lipat dua kek tu.
Bungkus dengan kemas dan simpan didalam peti sejuk.

TIRAMISU - Brunei-Italian version

Ingredients:
500 mls whipped cream
150 mls condensed milk (this is what makes it bruneian style......hehehe...)
500g philadelphia cream cheese
2 packets of digestive biscuits
1 dsp Nescafe powder diluted in 50 mls of hot water first & then add in 200 mls of cold water
200 g cadbury milk chocolate & grated

Method:

• whisk the whipping cream until it forms soft peaks
• in a separate bowl, whisk the philadelphia cream cheese with the condensed milk
• fold in cream cheese mixture into the whipped cream mixture. Mix well
• spread a thin layer over the bottom of a large oval or rectangular dish
• cover with another layer of the cream and sprinkle with a little grated chocolate
• continue until all the ingredients are used up
• finish with a layer of cream and grated chocolate and finally dust with cocoa powder

If u prefer to use Oreo toppings:

• reduce the condensed milk to 100 mls
• layer the cream mixture alternately with the oreo until finished
• finish with a layer of cream and grated chocolate and finally dust with cocoa powder

MSN

Today, almost everbody in our office bz downloading MSN to their handphones xcept my Big Boss!!! heheheh.......Barangsiapa berani kan convince kedia utk install MSN ani, aku belanja makan Dim Sum d Dynasty restaurant!!!

My 1st Day being a Blogger......

Assalammualaikum and Good morning everybody,
Today, 12th March 2007 @10:30am, I successfully convinced myself to start blogging after so much of persuasion from my other fellow blogger, Bruneian and my niece, Aunidayini! I'm not an I.T person by nature but there is always a way to change myself! Thank You soooo much dear.....

It's just a typical Monday morning where u feel that u should continue your weekend break!! I felt so bored in the office coz some of my colleagues are manning the booth in the OGDC for the safety week. Luckily, one of my other colleague, Hj Jin came for a T-break in our office. During our conversation, he talked about blogging. He guided me and said that it was as easy as 1 2 3.......hehheheheh....=)

So, here I am.........
